Vecchia storia questa delle ali rigide, innanzi tutto nasce nella cosidetta piccola coppa america, competizione che per quanto ne so si corre proprio con cat armati con ali verticali regolabili...certo di dimensioni piu' piccole. Comunque a quanto ricordo alla fine degli anni 80 o primi 90 i Neozelandesi sfidarono l'allora detentore Dennis Conner con un mega classe libera di circa 40 metri (tipo uno skiff gigante) e Dennis senza scomporsi partecipo con un catamarano tipo piccola coppa america, e li lascio li'...la storia e' ciclica :grin
